I have the same iron. I'm curious why you say you wouldn't purchase it again...
3 months is a long time for a repair!!!

I heart my Rowenta, too. :)
I had a very similar Rowenta iron that I loved. Until it started leaking, that is. Sent it back to the factory, waited almost 6 months for its return, and it started leaking again about a week after the warranty ran out. =(
