Oldie, but a Goodie

A couple years ago I joined in on Amanda Jean's first quilt-a-long.  I have finally finished that quilt.  It took long enough!  I am happy with how it turned out.  So cheery! 


And the back.  I really love the simplicity of this back.  I think I'm probably going to use this again.


Taking advantage of the Christmas tree to show off the pieced binding.  I figured, why not make the binding a bunch of crazy bright colors too?

Hey, that quilt turned out fantastic! I saw the quilt-along on AmandaJean's blog and really like your colour choices! Scrappy binding like that is great to use up all the left-over binding from other quilts, I find :)

Fun quilt, and backing too! I love doing pieced bindings, they are so pretty. I'll have to try that kind of backing, is it hard to quilt instead of using one large piece?
