100th Post Giveaway!

100 posts.  It sure has taken me awhile to make it to this milestone!  I suppose that makes it all the sweeter.  I have really enjoyed sharing my sewing projects with whoever decides to listen.  I am often so encouraged by all of the sweet comments left on my posts.

To celebrate, I decided to give away four fat quarters.

We have some Denyse Schmidt Flea Market Fancy, Amy Butler Belle and Lotus, and Studio E Flourish.

So I'm going to go with the three ways to enter method.
  1. Leave a comment telling me your favorite project that you're currently working on.  It could be sewing, other crafting, home project, whatever!  The favorite project I am working on is the quilt for my niece using the Love fabrics.  The fabrics are just so pretty!  I hope to be able to post about it soon!
  2. Blog about my giveaway!  If you do, please just leave another comment letting me know.
  3. Subscribe to my blog!  If you start now or already do, just leave another comment.
The giveaway will run until midnight on Sunday, January 17.  I will randomly choose a winner on Monday.

I was drooling over these fabrics on flickr--so I should enter and not gross people out with images of spittle ;)

Right now, I'm SUPER excited to be thinking up the perfect quilt for my DSQ8 partner. It's definitely my favorite thing right now. That and knitting--I just learned, and it's so addictive, no?

PS thanks for doing this giveaway-it's so generous. Even if I don't win, it's so heartwarming when people have such nice events on their blogs :)

Happy 100th post!

I'm working on knitting a baby blanket for a friend of mine that has wanted to get pregnant for quite a while now. I'm so excited that she'll be having a baby girl in a few months and can't wait to meet her.

I tend to be a one project at a time kind of person, so I am currently making a quilt for my grandmother, who is going through chemo. I am following the modify tradition quilt a long. I don't know that I am modifying it enough, because it feels awfully traditional right now.

Congrats on 100 posts.

Oh, I also follow you through google reader.

Way to go, Nichole! I'm so inspired by all your blogging. One of my goals for this year is to start (and maintain) a crafting blog. We'll see how it goes!

So my favorite project right now isn't started yet. I just ordered a bunch of the new Anna Maria Horner cotton voile to make a quilt for my mom. I can't wait for it to get here so I can get started!!

I don't know what my favorite project is right now. I have many things I need to be doing, and my 4current semi obsessions, are Iowa (Carolina) Christmas mystery by Bonnie Hunter, Amy's 2010 BOM, Oh Fransson's Paintbox quilt along, and my month old great grandbaby, MacKenzie's quilt. I'm sure that I could fit your gorgeous fat quarters in somewhere.

Love your fabric choices! Maybe 2010 will bring me some luck?

I've started handquilting my Imagination 1 quilt (you can check it out in the side bar of my quilt), echo quilting around the circles. I feel like I've been quilting forever, but there are not that many circles to show. The quilt feels so soft though, and I love how much I get to handle it during hand-quilting.

Cheerios,
Christine ;)

My current project is a fleece blanket with crocheted edging. I go a skipstitch blade for CHristmas and it works great. Project Linius gets alot of these blankets, they are so fast to do! This one however is for my newest future granddaugher. After 4 boys, she is very anxiously awaited!
